Hindu Great Creatrix - Goddess of the Void

I am the Absolute

From me proceeded the world of substance and consciousness

The void and all phenomena

I am bliss and non-bliss

I am the entire world

I am the unknown

Below and above and around am I

Devi Upanishad

DIALOGUE WITH ADITI

Most Reverent, Most High, Your Holiness

I - Grant me permission to see the ocean you hide behind you.

Aditi - Then you will spin the wheel of Karma and your hands are too weak.

Most Reverent, Most High, Your Holiness

I - Grant me permission to know the wisdom you hide behind you.

Aditi - Then you will know your destiny and the destiny of the earth and your mind is too weak.

I - How do I strengthen my hands and my mind?

Aditi - By praying without ceasing.

I - How do I pray without ceasing?

Aditi - By praying the answers to your questions until your mind is empty

and you float on the universal waters.

I - And what you the universal waters?

Aditi - The waters of the earth that gave birth to your lives and will end it.

The more you know the less there will be for you to know.

I - Then there will be nothing to know,

Aditi - No, when you know everything the unknown will destroy you.

I - Then I should strive to know nothing.

Most Reverent, Most High, Your Holiness
