Story Line: A man is looking for a country.
SCENE ONE
A Citizenship and Immigration Services office. A man is seated in front of an Immigration Officer.
OFFICER:
So, why did you leave your country?
MAN:
Because I wanna live in a democracy.
OFFICER:
But I consider your country as the most democratic place to make a life.
MAN:
I don't know. Maybe. But I'm here because of that.
OFFICER:
What? I didn't get that. Please explain it to me?
MAN:
I would like to be myself.
OFFICER:
What does that mean?
MAN:
I'm a happy man. I would like to be sad.
OFFICER:
Are you out of your mind? Be unhappy?
MAN:
Yeah! Exactly! It's my dream! I want to be a sad man.
OFFICER:
Then you came to the right place. Here you will be very sad.
MAN:
Great! I wanna this for my life. Can I stay here?
OFFICER:
Of course not.
(The officer stamps a paper.)
OFFICER:
Refused!
MAN:
I'm so sad again.
OFFICER
I don't care.
(Man jumps with his arms raised like he was celebrating a home run from his team.)
MAN
I'm a sad man! A sad man! Thanks!
Blackout.
OFFICER
(Voice Over.)
Next!
