Supawat Thonglamul's journey with drawing and teaching is still intriguing even though time has passed for this drawing guru from South Isaan. I have witnessed his intention for a long time, having the opportunity to follow up on his first works that used the technique of Airbrushes,
which have become proud collections both at home and abroad (as you
can see Here).

Drawings: Japanese Series 2021: Where Supawat Thonglamul uses a natural charcoal technique. With a trip to Tokyo Japan to seek inspiration in the creation of his works of art, he traveled to various places. He had the opportunity to see Tokyo's people, life, city, culture, and museums, which overall provided a great inspiration for him. There are 100 works in total, all of which are creatively fulfilling and impressive.

Pictures of Mount Fuji

Seeing the real place affects expression and blends with feelings, thoughts, and imagination at the same time.

The elegance of Mount Fuji is proportioned by nature. Looking from a distance there is snow at the top. "We were fortunate to have the opportunity to see it that day. The coolness of the surrounding atmosphere is delightful. There were hawks flying around the river beautifully."

Oshino Hakkai Clear Water Village

Impressions from the village with the thatched roof ancient style of Japan. The water wheel has a view of Mount Fuji which is very beautiful.

There is a clear stream. that flows from Mount Fuji and passes through this village's big pool. There are many koi fish swimming in the clear water as well. It reminds me of Japanese art prints, many pieces from the past which the artists elaborately carved beautifully or used a painting technique.

Kiyomizu Kannon Temple, Tokyo

An old temple built with meticulousness. It has a long history of construction since 1631. The special feature of the architecture is its protruding balcony, resulting in a wide area in front of the entrance gate to pay homage to the sacred. When standing on the balcony looking out, you will see the landscape around that area.

In the past, it was an inspiration for the great Japanese print artist Utagawa Hiroshige to create another masterpiece in his life. The work is called:
The Moon Pine, Ueno,1857.

Supawat Thonglamul was also impressed when coming to the same place. Therefore, he took this opportunity to recreate the pine trees that were part of the inspiration for Utagawa Hiroshige, even though the original trees were mostly gone.
