When artists are gathered in Thailand, the Southern Isan group proves to be an interesting art work group. In the atmosphere of a wonderful environment are the provinces, Nakhon Ratchasima, Chaiyaphum, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani. All have cultural beautiful traditions and their own identities in art and culture. Nakhon Ratchasima Province. with the short name of Korat, has a park, Prasat Hin Phimai, Phimai Historical Park Located in Phimai District Nakhon Ratchasima Province, it consists of a large and beautiful stone castle from the Khmer Empire period. Chaiyaphum Province. The famous beauty of the monument carved lintels in Prang Ku Mueang Chaiyaphum District Chaiyaphum Province Phra Prang Ku is an ancient site. It is located at Bannakan Road Mueang Chaiyaphum District. Chaiyaphum Province with a square base built with laterite stacked from base to top. Inside contains a terracotta Buddha image. It is believed that it was a royal court (hospital) in the past.   Buriram Province has important ancient sites from the Khmer civilization such as Phanom Rung and Muang Tam, and is now home to a large sports center. which consists of a football club, a racing field and a boxing camp. Surin Province Surin is in the lower Northeastern region or "Southern Isan". Prasat Sikhoraphum or Prasat Ra-ngeng located in Sikhoraphum District is the most complete and beautiful castle in Surin. There is a lintel in the form of an Apsara holding a lotus flower. and the guardian standing holding the batons of Sikhoraphum Castle, located in Sikhoraphum District Surin. Sisaket Province has Prasat Hin Sa Kamphaeng Yai-or, located in the area of Wat Sa Kamphaeng Yai, Uthumphon Phisai District Sisaket Province and Prasat Hin Sa Kamphaeng Noi Located inside Wat Sa Kamphaeng Noi, adjacent to Uthumphon Phisai-Sisaket Road. There is evidence of both ancient history and archeology, such as the color paintings at Pha Taem National Park and there are also many important tourist attractions. Sam Phan Bok is the amazing rock rapid. There is an old stone castle. Many of the prevalent cultural groups of this region are the Dvaravati cultural groups because of their large number of parapets. A large group of castles in the province such as Prasat Thonglang Ban Ben Castle Prasat That Nang Phaya. I studied art at the vocational certificate level (vocational certificate) in 1987 in the art department School of Design College of Technology and Vocational Education Northeastern Campus Nakhon Ratchasima. What I gained from studying the Fine Arts (present day Rajamangala University) is that I learn the basics of art intensively. All teachers taught me to know how to use ideas in art concurrently and study for a BA (Higher Vocational Certificate) in 1990, majoring in international sculpture. JY . Where has the working team progressed? e.g., Dan Kwian Pottery or other places in the area that build a local reputation. DW .Until about 10 years ago I thought I was ready to return to art. Therefore I joined the contemporary Dan Kwian group, Dan Kwian Pottery Village in Dan Kwian sub-district, Chokchai district, (if mentioning OTOP products (OTOP), one sub-district, one type of clay dolls or pottery products is famous. Of course there must be a name. "Dan Kwian Pottery" is at the top because of Dan Kwian pottery It has been famous for a long time in being distinguished by its strong, durable and beautiful products with uniqueness and diverse forms of sculpture and is becoming a popular product in the market. Wichan Pramulsri, (Chairman of the Dan Kwian Contemporary Group) and Ajarn Dej Nan Klang (Isan Heritage Artist of the Year 2022, Sculpture Branch) are leading and supporting the working atmosphere of the contemporary Dan Kwian artists. We are together like brothers and sisters. We will have a talk to consult each other all the time. and jointly displaying works of art continuously. In the past, Master Suraphon Panyawachira, (Isan Heritage Artist of the Year 2020, Mixed Media) consulted and talked with Wichan Pramulsri about uniting art workers in Korat who already have a regular job and are continually working on art. In July, 2022, there was an exhibition: "Life" Korat Contemporary Art Exhibition at the Art Gallery of Khon Kaen University: (Contemporary Dan Kwian Group and Contemporary Korat Group and Ajarn Tawee Ratchaneekorn, a national artist (Visual Arts - Painting Year 2005) as a consultant Thank you Khon Kaen University and the faculty members of Khon Kaen University, which gives the opportunity to the contemporary Korat group. Your Sculpture whether it's steel work, wood work, clay work that have been submitted to the contest or sent to show in various institutions that is important in how it causes change and development. DW . My art work "Use lines to create relationships in shapes" tell stories about feelings. through lines and shapes. "I will continue to work on art." When I work on each piece of art, during the work it will always be happy, fun and challenging to myself, "It's like I'm going somewhere I don't know." I went on and on and on, enjoying the journey. I try to observe and learn, from the work of brothers and sisters in our group to develop ideas, develop my own work. In the past, I started with purely clay sculpture. The working approach of the Dan Kwian group of contemporary is get to know Dan Kwian pottery. Briefly, in the past, Dan Kwian Village was one of the old communities in the Mun River Basin. It was a frontier town called Dan Kratok  and used to be a resting place for caravans carrying goods between Korat and Cambodia. As a result, this village became known as "Dan Kwian". Later it was upgraded to Kratok District Dan Kwian Pottery Village. It is located in Dan Kwian Subdistrict, Chokchai District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. It is one of the famous pottery producing villages.The villagers of Dan Kwian  bring the products out for sale. Moreover, Dan Kwian Village is another interesting tourist attraction. I have known Dan Kwian since I can remember, known as the art and craft of pottery, whether it is mortars, jars and potted products of various shapes. The most famous and known throughout the world is the Dan Kwian Terracotta Owl. I know directly when I was studying art at Techno Korat all art students there will know the clay soil of Dan Kwian very well because we will use it to learn sculpture such as bas-reliefs, and floating models for Dan Kwian clay hair It is a soil that is very difficult to please, that is, it dries very quickly, especially if exposed to the wind, it will shrink quickly. It's hard and cracks fast, but has a charm that's worth finding. Terracotta Dan Kwian is just Folk Arts and Crafts. The method of creating artworks of the Dan Kwian group is the use of clay techniques by bringing Dan Kwian soil to create works of art in contemporary sculpture, by bringing together various materials as a mixed media such as jars and wood etc. or will be made in the form of terracotta only Well, which artist?
